Sleeve for the Sugar Plum Fairy worn by Alicia Markova in Act II of Lev Ivanov's ballet 'Casse-Noisette' (The Nutcracker), Festival Ballet, Stoll Theatre, London, 24th October 1950. The music for the ballet was composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and the scenery and costumes were designed by George Kirsta. Alicia Markova also danced the role of the Snow Queen in Act I.
