Traditional Chinese bell dancer marionette holding a gold-painted bell in each hand. Carved and painted wood, with brown glass eyes. He is wearing a red and gold brocade jacket and trousers, the jacket and collar trimmed with turquoise velvet with green, amber and uncoloured glass 'jewels' attached, and the trousers trimmed at the ankles with bands of turquoise velvet
