Glove puppet of Mr Punch with a carved and painted wooden face and hands, and hair made of fur. He wears a stuffed mid-green hat decorated with a silver hexagonal button and trimmed with a blue band at the front, edged with yellow woven braid fixed to the head with studs. A multicoloured tassel is attached to the top of the hat, at its central point. He wears a dull crimson tunic with a front panel of turquoise woven fabric, edged with yellow braid. At his neck he wears a mustard-yellow ruff edged in red braid. His breeches are navy blue and his legs are painted green to simulate stockings. His shoes are painted blue and decorated with squares of red felt with pinked edges, fixed to the feet with brass studs.
