Object history | Tutu for Princess Florine worn by Alicia Markova in the Bluebird pas de deux from Marius Petipa's ballet 'The Sleeping Beauty'. The music for the ballet was composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and the costume was devised for Markova by Mme Manya. Given to the British Theatre Museum Association by the Metropolitan Opera Company in July 1969. |
