Costume for the Andantino worn by Alicia Markova in Bronislava Nijinska's ballet 'Les Biches' (as The House Party), performed by the Markova-Dolin Ballet, 1937. The music for the ballet was composed by Francis Poulenc, and the scenery and costumes were designed by Marie Laurencin. The ballet was originally commissioned and performed by Serge Diaghilev's Ballets Russes in 1924.

Markova's costume was made after the original 1924 Laurencin design by Mme Manya.
