Rod puppet of a young aristocratic 18th-century gentleman, dressed in a cream silk cutaway jacket with pale green lining and purple buttons, cream silk knee breeches, an orange damask satin waistcoat with purple buttons and a cream cotton shirt with a lace jabot. He is clean-shaven, with a carved and painted wooden head with carved representation of a powdered wig, painted grey. He has a carved wooden body, wooden lower arms and legs, jointed at the knees, and his lower legs are painted cream to represent stockings. He has wire upper arms and stacked heel shoes, painted gold
