Physical description

Tissue stereograph mounted on light cream coloured card, depicting a scene with four men playing cards at a table. Albumen print, hand-colour on tissue and intended to be viewed as a transparency. The print has been pricked in the position of the candles in the image to give the effect, when held up to the light, that the candles are glowing. Lettered with the name Joseph Chadwick Peatson and inscribed in graphite with the artist's name and the letters 'RN'.
