Physical description

Oblong pillow cover made from a piece of fine linen folded in half, and edged with bands of geometric needle lace. The bands are joined to make the linen into a pillow case, open at one edge. That edge is decorated with needle lace scallops at intervals, made with patterns and fillings to match the bands.
