Brief description
Caster, silver, London hallmarks for 1694-5, mark of Christopher Canner
Physical description
Caster, silver with gadrooned foot and top, the body cylindrical, banded with mouldings. The cap fastens with a bayonet joint; it is pierced with stars and fleur-de-lys and has a conical gadrooned top with moulded finial.

  • CC intertwined within a round shield, mark for Christopher Canner, Jackson, 1989, pp.144, mark for 1690-91 a maker of casters. Full marks on the main body only just below the rim.
