Physical description

Printed cotton with chocolate brown grown with assorted motifs arranged in 2 weft bands, one inverted; 'Japonisme' style:
a). stylised 'wrestler' with outstretched arms, with Indian club or furled parasol
b) a 'No' theatre costumed figure with two stylised dog forms below
Predominate colours: brown, chestnut brown, rust, ochre, coral, white and grey. Two selvedges.
