Object history
Lubomir Tomaszewski, a sculptor employed by the Institute of Industrial Design in Warsaw,was commissioned to investigate ideal ergonomic forms for tea and coffee ware in 1956. The resulting services, 'Ina' (1961) and 'Dorota' (1962) were strikingly elegant in their exaggerated organic styling.
