Physical description

Curtain fabric. Printed cotton. Complicated pattern of essentially two designs arranged in two vertical bands:
a) a view of a room interior with tiled floor, a blue padded seat with a potted plant behind. A decorative table covered with a bowl of roses stands against a yellow wall. The whole is delineated by a heavy pink striped curtains surmounted by a wreath of blue and pink/red flowers. Half this panel is repeated at selvage sides.
b) As infill between this central panel and the 2 x ½ repeat is a dark grey ground filled with a flower garland, a pink car with headlights driving towards an ornamental spring and basin, with a house and a tree in the background. This is surmounted by 2 'Paisley' or 'butah' motifs joined at the base.
The colours are bold, almost fluorescent. Two selvedges.
