This calendar for the year 2000 is a tour-de-force of witty text and imagery. Trickett and Webb is a design consultancy founded in 1971 by graphic designers Lynn Trickett (b.1971) and Brian Webb (b.1945). Their practice specialises in graphic design, packaging and exhibition design, corporate identity and book design.
'Week Link/2000' is a calendar combining elegant typography with fifty-three images commissioned from leading contemporary illustrators and designers. They include Dan Fern, Quentin Blake, Glynn Boyd Harte, Chloë Cheese, Sara Fanelli and Peter Blake. The text (fifty-three words by Neil Martingley on the relativity of time) runs through the fifty-three illustrated pages of the calendar, giving narrative excitement to match the unfolding imagery
