There are 39 leaves in the volume, with one other pasted in, and 10 of the leaves have drawings on separate pieces of paper that have been laid down into the sketchbook. Many of the leaves evidently formerly in the book have been cut or torn out.
Inscribed in front cover with artist's name, and the address of Richard Wilson's studio in Covent Garden.
