Object history
The same state of this poster with the publisher's name overprinted by the gold background, is reproduced on p.73 (No.607) of Die Jugend der Plakate by Paul Wember, Krefeld, 1961. A drawing in the possession of the artist's son, on which the poster was based, was shown in the exhibition 'Art Nouveau and Alphonse Mucha', held at the Victoria and Albert Museum, May to August 1963.
