Colour screenprint poster advertising an appearance of the band Brinsley Schwarz at the North London Polytechnic, 13th November 1974. The design is based around an anonymous uniformed figure wearing a gas mask and policeman's helmet, on top of which there is a butterfly.

Historical context note

The confrontational aspect of this poster in some ways recalls the assertive, autonomous images designed and printed by students during the Paris riots of May 1968.
