Physical description

Satirical print showing key figures of the French leadership during the siege of Paris. On the right is Napoleon III, who pushes forward a raggedly dressed old man. On the left is general Trochu, who presents a man dressed in livery. Print from a set of caricatures, broadsheets and illustrations in ten volumes. Each volume is half-bound in red leather, gold tooled and stamped with imperial emblems, title etc.
