Satirical illustration of a man in hunting clothes carrying a gun and a birdcage over his shoulder. In the cage is a bird with the head of Napoleon III. The man is carrying a roll of paper labelled 'Proclamation' in his left hand. Print from a set of caricatures, broadsheets and illustrations in ten volumes. Each volume is half-bound in red leather, gold tooled and stamped with imperial emblems, title etc.
