Satirical print showing the French Imperial family. Napoleon III, holding a pair of spectacles to his eyes and a small bag at his right side, is led by a dog into a room with a toilet. The bag is lettered '22 ans de coquineries'. Behind him stands the Empress Eugénie. In the left background is the Prince Imperial, carrying a syringe and a whistle. Print from a set of caricatures, broadsheets and illustrations in ten volumes. Each volume is half-bound in red leather, gold tooled and stamped with imperial emblems, title etc.

Voilà cette pauvre famille Badinguet plaignez la elle n'emporte que quelques petits millions, son bagage est petit, et ne se compose que d'objects de première nécessité et accessoires de voyage. Ce qu'il faut à ces pélerins, c'est un trône quelconque, et Badinguet, le binocle sur l'oeil, cherche à en decouvrir un quelque part. Presses d'arriver sa femme et son fils lui demandent s'il n'apercoit rien << Je ne distingue rien encore, répond-il, mais je crois sentir quelque chose, il me semble que nous approchons du but>>' (Lettered)
