Physical description

Glove for Everyman worn by John Martin Harvey. Glove of off white leather trimmed with gold braid down the hand, interspersed with blue jewels, the edges trimmed with gold lace braid, set at the front with hanging fringes of tiny beads, and the cuff edged with gold fringe.

Glove for Everyman worn by John Martin Harvey in Sybil Amherst & Dr C E Wheeler's play 'Via Crucis' performed at the Garrick Theatre, London, 5th February 1923. The production was designed by Sir Aston Webb, and the costumes were designed by Charles Buchel & Lady Martin Harvey.
