Fragment of a leaf with a decorated 7-line initial A (red, blue and green vine stem the letter-shape, top of letter issues from mouth of animal, dragon heads within the ornament) ; 1-line initial in green, with flourishing , and red.

Descriptive line
Cutting from an Antiphoner. Initial A in pink with interlacing serpents in blue, green and red on a gold ground. Germany, early 13th century. A duplicate number MS.414 was assigned to this object in error and was subsequently cancelled.
