Cape Kennedy Space Launching Station

Photograph
1967 (photographed)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Henri Cartier-Bresson spent four decades travelling the world as a photojournalist in search of what he termed 'the decisive moment' - the instant when visual harmony and human significance combine. Remarkably, he rarely cropped or manipulated his prints, but skilfully composed the image in the viewfinder. Here, he documents the clinically white stage-set of Apollo Mission Control.
