Goblet which can only be put down up-side-down, once emptied. Two knobs of the original glass stem are still visible, the lowest being used to attach the silver mount, which includes a open-worked sphere, containing a dice, a nude seated figure on a barrel and a small bowl, suspended from two hinging supports and checked by a counterbalnce.

Goblet of clear glass, mounted in metal. The glass is probably English but the mount is Dutch. It was made about 1730

Goblet which can only be put down up-side-down, once emptied.
