Object history
Demonstration costume (?) worn by Gerrard Barker Sampson. The costume was made by Garrard Barker Sampson ca. 1973. Angela Burns, formerly in charge of the wardrobe for the New Shakespeare Company, Regent's Park, stated that the costume was never used in a production by that company, and suggested that Mr Sampson may have had it made as a demonstration costume for lectures.
