The Black Panther Party for Self Defense was founded in 1966 by Bobby Seale and Huey P. Newton as a direct response to the increased instances of police brutality in their local community. The message printed here is a defiant challenge to the guilty law enforcement officers, declaring that their violent behaviour will be met with equally violent retaliation.
