Design for a Wall Fountain

Drawing

Pen, ink, and wash design on paper for an elaborate wall fountain. The fountain is composed of a large lower basin with scalloped edges in the shape of a semi-circle merging with an ellipse set on a low plinth. Within the basin, three male mythical figures hold a second smaller scalloped-edged basin. A series of arches fills the background where sculpted foliage hangs above the central arch and sculptural figures at the ends hold poles with water spouting through.
