Place of origin

Part of a tapestry, woven in coloured wools, showing an arcade of which three columns and two arches remain. They enclose large acanthus foliage intertwined with floral stems. The arches are supported on a balustrade. To the left, a woman is seated on the balustrade, which is here curved, and playing a triangle. Beneath the woman sits a male figure playing the bagpipes with a dog beside him. What appears to be a fox is running along the balustrade to the right.
