Colour offset lithograph poster Never Mind The Bollocks Here’s The Sex Pistols, advertising the Sex Pistols album of the same title. The graphic images of the Sex Pistols singles sleeves (Anarchy in the UK, God Save the Queen, Holidays in the Sun etc.) are arranged here as a collage, against a dark ground.

Object history note

This poster is, in effect, a summation of Reid’s early work for the Pistols. Reid’s ‘guerrilla graphics’ had the desired effect of stunning a complacent music business and record-buying public sated by a preponderance of airbrush illustration and glamorous group photography.
