According to a note in the register this is perhaps one of 'Les quatre Saisons habillées ...' listed in the Niderviller 'Tarif' published by A. Tainturier, 'Recherches sur les anciennes manufactures de porcelain et de faience (Alsace et Loraine), Strasbourg, 1868; here however, the figures are shown as 8", not 7½ as this example. The model was also produced at Niderviller in faience (see A. Lane, French Faience, 1948, pl. 82E)
